Androidのマーケットに Android Location Cache Viewer というアプリがあります。Android端末にキャッシュされている位置情報データ を確認するためのものです。
したがって、このアプリを使うにはルート権限が必要です。アプリの説明によれば、Androidは最新の50の基地局の位置データと最新の200のWi-Fiの位置データを保存しているとのことです。
アプリを起動すると Google Map上に位置データを表示します。どうもデータに誤りがあるようで、いきなり世界地図が現れて東南アジアやヨーロッパの位置データも表示されますが、日本を拡大して正しいと思われるデータを表示してみます。
基地局のデータとWi-Fiのデータが色分けされて表示されます。オプションメニューに Play Tracksという項目があり、これを使うと時間順に地図を移動します。見ていると面白いですよ。
